Eric uses strong lines and demonstrates that he is acutely aware of positive and negative space, balance and overall composition. His brushwork is significant and intentional, but loose and without confinement, reflecting his deep understanding that we are all at the mercy of time and space. 

Eric works in the abstract figurative and non-objective forms. He approaches the canvas the way a skilled climber often approaches a mountain face, planned, however free-line and without fear so as to keep his work fresh, free-flowing and emotive.
