Eric Harley Schweitzer
About the Artist

Artist Statement:

I firmly believe that in the act of creating, especially fine art, I find myself closest to a higher power. I am driven to share this feeling in my work and express in it the significance of the composition through immediacy and a deep understanding for meaning and purpose. I desire all objective viewers to feel visually satisfied no matter how trained or untrained their artistic eye is when enjoying my work in the present and future. The act of creating something permanent compels me in its highest form and I am most concerned with affecting the viewer's conscious, subconscious and spirit in a way that gives significance to their lives as well. I approach my medium as I approach each day, completely new, fresh and with an underlying altruistic purpose.
